Simchat Torah

Monday, October 5, 7 pm

Simchat TorahJoin us for a wild time, celebrating the joy of Torah! There will be dancing and eating and doing all sorts of wonderful things – all centered around the joy of Torah!

Then, on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m., we will complete the reading of the Torah and will start all over at Bereshit. There will be L’Hayim for one and all!

Beth Jacob is pleased to continue our tradition of honoring some of our special volunteers on Simchat Torah. The last aliyah given for the end of Deuteronomy (Hatan Torah) and the first aliyah given for the beginning of Genesis (Kallat Breishit) on Tuesday morning are special honors we reserve for individuals who have shown their devotion to our community through years of volunteer service. This year we will recognize. Join us to honor them and celebrate the Torah!
