Journey Through the High Holiday Service

Journey Through the High Holiday Service
A Program for Learners
9:30 am Rosh HaShanah day 1 (Thurs., Sep.21)

Would you or anyone you know want to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, but may not know where to start? Someone who perhaps isn’t comfortable with Hebrew, the service, or even being in a synagogue? Beth Jacob would like to welcome them to an exciting new program!

Join Rabbi Lynn Liberman as she leads us on an introduction to the Rosh Hashana service in our prayerbook, the Machzor Lev Shalem, in an effort to inspire and invigorate people to become more involved in Jewish life. Beth Jacob’s Journeys Through the High Holiday Service, offered in conjunction with NJOP, is intended to help people find a more meaningful High Holidays experience. No RSVP, no tickets, and no experience necessary!

All children and families from age 0 to K are welcome, every week of the year, for Minyan Katan, our Shabbat service filled with song, prayer, and Torah, at 11:30 am. Children age K-4th grade participate in Minyan Gadol, while 5th-12th graders participate in and learn to lead Youth Tefillah (both also at 11:30).
Please take the time to register your children! The school year begins on Saturday, September 9. Stay tuned for more updates, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to D.Marcos with any questions or thoughts.
