Shir Shacharit
A song-filled Shacharit service including a variety of melodies and more led by Beth Jacob congregants.
Shir Shacharit meets for Shacharit together once a month from 9:15 to 10:00 in the Saide Chapel (dates vary month to month). Our styles of davening are eclectic – chosen by each shaliach tzibur.
The emphasis is on lots of prayerful singing (new and familiar), strong ruach, and a deepening of our davening. We include all of the essential Shacharit prayers. Shir Shacharit is growing and evolving and we would love to have you join us.
Services for the entire shul will start in the Saide Chapel with its close, intimate setting, allowing the room to be filled with our prayerful voices. As we conclude both Pesuke D’zimra and Shacharit, we will make our way to the main sanctuary for Torah reading and the remainder of Shabbat davening and learning.
Our rotating Shlichei Tzibur include: Mara Benjamin, Rabbi Shosh Dworsky, Sara Lynn Newberger, Miryam Kababkov, Rabbi Amy Eilberg, and Jonathan Ehrlich.
