Join us for Erev Rosh HaShanah services and stay after for an community dinner. We will be serving a traditional kosher brisket meal which will include stuffed Portobello mushrooms for vegetarians, roasted potatoes, tzimis, asparagus and honey apple crisps. Adult Ticket – $27 | Child Ticket – $12

Kesher Tashlich Picnic

Join us for a Tashlich picnic at Hidden Falls Park Picnic Shelter on the afternoon/evening of September 17th, the second day of Rosh HaShanah. Tashlich, from the Hebrew for “cast away,” is a physical symbol of our willingness to cast off behaviors and beliefs that are not in our true nature or best interests.

Come anytime between 5-7 PM. We’ll share a potluck dairy meal and have a chance to perform the ritual of Tashlich. It is a brief ceremony in which we “cast our sins upon the waters” that is usually done during the High Holiday period. Take time for quiet contemplation or join in with a group. Think about what no longer serves you and what you want to create in this fresh new year.
