Immigration Justice Task Force

As Jews, we are connected to the experience of immigrants and refugees throughout history – and we have a mandate to pursue immigration justice today. Beth Jacob’s Immigration Justice Task Force focuses on learning, advocacy, and action in our community and beyond.  Some of our current projects include an interfaith book club, supporting a newly-arrived family in Saint Paul, and raising funds for a small community in Las Vegas, Honduras. Our work is in service of immigrant communities (who have been disproportionately hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic), and yet our meetings take place online and our activities allow for social distancing.
