Our shul runs smoothly due to the strong involvement from our lay leadership.  Every Shabbat, we host a communal kiddush, and we welcome everyone personally at the door. We are asking you to sign up to help on Shabbat Morning.  This is a mitzvah that we ask of all members of our community. We need 6 people to help with Kitchen Crew and 4 Greeters each week.

Greeters work in two different shifts from 9:00-10:30 am and 10:30 am-12 pm. As we endeavor to ensure a safe building, a welcoming face at the door is very important. The greeter’s main role is to open the front doors and welcome our community.

The Kitchen Crew has two shifts: The Prep shift from 10 am-12 pm will help set up for the Kiddush, warm the food, and cut the challah. The second Clean-up shift will help serve the meal and clean up; this shift begins at 12:00 pm and concludes around 1:30 pm.

Please choose the upcoming date that works best for you. If you are not yet able to attend services in person, please email the office at info@beth-jacob.org to be placed on the list for spring.
