When people in our community welcome a baby, encounter illness or injuries, or mourn a loved one, Beth Jacob people provide meals. The Chesed Committee organizes our effort so that people receive meals that meet dietary needs and don’t have all the food arriving on one day.
People who sign up for Chesed receive an email when there’s a need. Volunteers pick a date and cook meals in their kitchen. Signing up to be available does not obligate you to cook at any particular time, but if you can cook it’s a nice mitzvah.
