Gid Spinning Workshop
Tuesday, January 20
5:30 pm
Please join the Beth Jacob community to celebrate our students’ completion of their Mitzvot & Observance session! To celebrate and see some mitzvot in action, we will be inviting community members to help us with the maintenance of our Torah scrolls.
Adults, children, non-Jewish family members, and conversion students are all invited to learn about the construction of Torah scrolls and help spin gid.
*Gid is animal sinew thread, which is used to sew the panels of Torah scrolls together.
